Who is Andrew Wang?
A former freelance writer who discovered NFTs at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andrew Wang is now an influential personality in the NFT space. He currently has more than 172K followers on Twitter and has collected more than 529 NFT artworks, with a majority of them blue-chip works.
He is involved in several communities, to name a few:
- Andrew Wang x Genies, a metaverse fashion brand collaboration
- Reli3f, a charitable NFT project to raise funds for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. 37 artists contributed 200 NFTs to the collection, which sold out in 30 seconds for proceeds of $1 million: a case study for the powers of Web3.
- Advisor to Lobby3, a Andrew Yang-affiliated DAO for lobbying Congress on Web3-led crypto regulation.
